This platform will enable us to deliver a seamless and unified learning experience to all our employees, regardless of their location or entity.\n</p>\n<p>Employee learning is critical to growing our business and a core tenant of our quality management system. Our current state of multiple systems with inconsistent materials will be replaced with a single company-wide system with updated, consistent content. This new platform (Absorb Learning) will be piloted and tested by a small group of De Havilland Canada employees before it is launched company wide. This will ensure we can make sure everything is running smoothly prior to launching training to the greater organization. <strong>You have been selected to take part in the pilot program.</strong>\n</p>\n<p><strong><u>What does the participating in the Pilot Program mean and what is the commitment? </u></strong>\n</p>\n<ul>\n\t<li>Upon launching the Pilot Program, depending on your position requirements, you will be assigned courses to complete over the next 60 days. Depending on your position, you may have from 3-8 hours of training to complete in your profile. Keep in mind, when we launch the LMS system to the rest of the organization in April 2024, you will not have to complete these courses again so your time and effort will be recognized and recorded! </li>\n\t<li>During the pilot, we will be hosting two focus group sessions virtually to gather feedback on the following topics;\n\t<ul>\n\t\t<li><strong>System Testing:</strong> The pilot group will thoroughly test the functionality of the LMS. This includes checking features such as user registration, course enrollment, and content delivery. Any bugs, glitches, or issues should be reported promptly within each course evaluation or to mylearning@dehavilland.com. </li>\n\t\t<li><strong>Usability Evaluation</strong>: Evaluate the user-friendliness and overall user experience of the LMS. Feedback on the navigation, interface design, and accessibility can help identify areas for improvement to ensure that the system is intuitive for all users.</li>\n\t\t<li><strong>Content Assessment:</strong> Test the effectiveness of the learning content within the LMS. Ensure that the content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the organization's training objectives. Evaluate the format, clarity, and engagement level of the content. </li>\n\t\t<li><strong>Technical Performance:</strong> Assess the technical performance of the LMS, including its speed, responsiveness, and compatibility with different devices and browsers. Identify any issues related to system performance or integration with other organizational tools.</li>\n\t\t<li><strong>User Support and Training:</strong> Evaluate the effectiveness of the support and training provided to users. Assess whether the resources, documentation, and training materials are sufficient for users to understand and utilize the LMS effectively.</li>\n\t\t<li><strong>Identifying Potential Challenges:</strong> Identify any challenges or barriers that may hinder the successful implementation of the LMS. This includes issues related to user adoption, resistance to change, or any organizational constraints.</li>\n\t\t<li><strong>Communication of Issues:</strong> Clearly communicate any issues, challenges, or concerns to the project team or LMS administrators. Over the past few months, we have been evaluating our current learning management systems (LMS) across all entities to identify areas for improvement and to ensure we are delivering the best learning experiences to our employees.&nbsp;<br> <br>After a thorough review process, we have decided to consolidate several of our current LMS systems into one comprehensive platform, and we are pleased to announce that we have selected Absorb as our new LMS provider. This platform will enable us to deliver a seamless and unified learning experience to all our employees, regardless of their location or entity.&nbsp;<br> <br>Absorb is a powerful, cloud-based LMS that offers a wide range of features and functionalities, including customized learning paths, direct integration with our HRIS system - Ceridian Dayforce, gamification, social learning, and mobile access. We are confident that this new platform will enhance our learning and development programs, improve user experience, and ultimately contribute to our success as an organization.&nbsp;<br> <br>The initial rollout of the new LMS will take place in Q1 of 2024 and will continue to be implemented over the next several months.
