As you are aware, over the past few months, the Learning and Development team has selected Absorb as our new LMS provider. This platform will enable us to deliver a seamless and unified learning experience to all our employees, regardless of their location or entity.\n

Employee learning is critical to growing our business and a core tenant of our quality management system. Our current state of multiple systems with inconsistent materials will be replaced with a single company-wide system with updated, consistent content. This new platform (Absorb Learning) will be piloted and tested by a small group of De Havilland Canada employees before it is launched company wide. This will ensure we can make sure everything is running smoothly prior to launching training to the greater organization. You have been selected to take part in the pilot program.\n

NEW Centralized Learning Managment System (LMS)\n

We are pleased to announce an exciting change in our learning and development infrastructure. Over the past few months, we have been evaluating our current learning management systems (LMS) across all entities to identify areas for improvement and to ensure we are delivering the best learning experiences to our employees. 

After a thorough review process, we have decided to consolidate several of our current LMS systems into one comprehensive platform, and we are pleased to announce that we have selected Absorb as our new LMS provider. This platform will enable us to deliver a seamless and unified learning experience to all our employees, regardless of their location or entity. 

Absorb is a powerful, cloud-based LMS that offers a wide range of features and functionalities, including customized learning paths, direct integration with our HRIS system - Ceridian Dayforce, gamification, social learning, and mobile access. We are confident that this new platform will enhance our learning and development programs, improve user experience, and ultimately contribute to our success as an organization. 

The initial rollout of the new LMS will take place in Q1 of 2024 and will continue to be implemented over the next several months. During this time, our team will work closely with Absorb to ensure a smooth transition and provide training and support to all employees who will be using the platform. 

We understand that change can be challenging, and we are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible. We will keep you informed of any updates and provide you with the necessary resources and training to ensure that you are comfortable with the new system. 

We are excited about this new chapter in our learning and development journey, and we believe that Absorb will play a vital role in our continued success as an organization.
